We have a small vineyard on our property of flame grapes. (Seedless.) As they near the end of their season every year, we pick what's left of them and freeze them, spread out on cookie sheets. Then we bag them up and have mouth-sized grapesicles all the way through the year till the grapes are back. They make GREAT ice cube substitutes in drinks, too. I have to say, those margarita pops so really good!

Ice cube trays, baby. Kool-Aid, Fruit Juice, tea – pour into ice cube trays, cover with Saran Wrap, poke in some toothpicks, freeze.

Any small fruits can be poked with a toothpick and frozen as treats – strawberries, cherries (pitless), grapes, etc. Melon balls would work too.

I used to have a popsicle mold I bought from Martha. She has a recipe for cantaloupe popsicles. I never tried it but it sounds delightful.

It's almost 100 degrees out here in the midwest today. And I'm thinking popsicles. Anybody have any favorite methods? Combos? I found an article on "Margarita" popsicles, which merely were lemon lime pops with tequila drizzled over them and sprinkled with salt. Yummy.
